MSDS Amonia (NH3)

Several incidents involving accidents at the plant ammonia gas leak, the basis for why I am writing this post.

This time I will give important information about ammonia or NH3. Ammonia is known to us mainly as the raw material for urea fertilizer. In addition, there is also the use of ammonia as a refrigerant in the chiller.

Ammonia can cause irritation to the skin, eyes and respiratory tract. It could even cause nausea, vomiting and fainting. However, ammonia is not included as carcinogenic chemicals or ingredients that can cause cancer.

Information about the potential hazards of ammonia to the safety and human health can be seen in the MSDS ammonia. Here are some links that provide MSDS ammonia, which can be downloaded to your computer.

Ammonia MSDS-2
Ammonia MSDS-3

In addition to the potential danger, of course you still remember that from the MSDS we can also obtain information about emergency measures or emergency treatment in case of accidents involving ammonia gas leakage or spillage of liquid ammonia.

So, if there is leakage of ammonia gas we already know exactly how to avoid the danger that can be caused by ammonia gas that we breathe.
